Which cookies and similar technologies goscore.me sets, what they are used for, and how visitors give, manage and withdraw consent.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Local storage does much the same job, keeping a value in the browser rather than sending it with every request. Both let a site remember something between page views.
This policy covers both, plus any comparable technology we might use for the same purposes.
Cookies we use
This site is deliberately light. Nothing below is set until it is needed, and nothing in the analytics group is set at all unless you accept it.

We set no advertising, remarketing or social-network cookies. The previous goscore.me site ran on Tilda and included Yandex Metrica and Facebook tags; none of those exist on this build.
Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary storage is set without consent because the site cannot do what you asked without it. On this site that is a single entry, goscore_consent, which records your own cookie choice.
Because the site is static and has no login, there is no session cookie.
Analytics and tag management
We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-53XZW7V), carried over from the previous goscore.me site, to load Google Analytics.
The tag manager is not loaded when the page loads. It is requested only after you press Accept, and never if you decline or ignore the banner. We use it to count page views, see which pages and which of the eight tests attract interest, and measure how people reach the site. IP addresses are truncated by Google Analytics before storage, and we do not use the data to identify individuals.
Analytics data is retained for at most 14 months.
Consent and how to withdraw it
On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary entry is set until you accept. Declining is a single click and carries no penalty — the site works identically either way.
To change your mind later, use the link at the foot of any page, which reopens the banner and lets you choose again. Declining after having accepted stops any further collection; to remove data already collected, delete the cookies in your browser and contact us using the address in the privacy policy.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. You can block everything, but on many other sites that will break features such as staying signed in. Blocking cookies from this site has no such effect.
Browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards all storage when you close it.

Only one third party receives data through the technologies on this page, and only with your consent.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes request metadata in order to serve and protect the site. That is not done with cookies and is covered by section 05 of the privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
When the cookie inventory changes we update the table in section 02 and the version date at the top of this page. A change that introduces a new purpose will also reset your consent, so the banner will ask again.
